Peter Malinauskas, South Australia's Premier, is threatening to destroy the beautiful Limestone Coast with plans to permit fracking in one of South Australia's most cherished natural environments. Regrettably, his pursuit of profits overlooks the significant and irreversible damage that could be inflicted upon our precious ecosystems, biodiversity, marine life, and birdlife. This short-sighted plan puts at risk not only our rich natural heritage but also our thriving tourism and fisheries industries that depend heavily on healthy marine environments.

The recent earthquake near the Tartwaup Fault highlights that faults in the Limestone Coast remain capable of movement.
